The Woodshop
Wood
Creations
The Woodshop invites custom orders by contacting Rick Miller at 524-6811. Loma members will be able to create your specific wood project.
The Woodshop sells wood pieces at local festivals and through our website.
Each member that shows an interest in wood working is given the opportunity to make items out of wood, and when they have perfected their piece, they can take it home, give it as a gift, or put it up for sale to make money.
History of The Woodshop
In the summer of 2009 Rick Miller turned his passion for woodworking into a great concept for Loma members.
He decided to teach them how to use patterns to develop a functioning and usable item. He also teaches the member how to use power tools under supervision, thus giving them another vocational skill.
